Douglas County Clerk Pioneers the Future of Land Records Management and Access in Kansas

Douglas County is the first County in Kansas to make the move to Landmark, the latest in Land Records Management Technology.

The Douglas County Register of Deeds has selected Landmark from Pioneer Technology Group for their records division. This marks the first contract for Landmark in Kansas, and continues Pioneer’s expansion across the Country.

“After an assessment of competing system providers we are happy to have been chosen by Douglas County” said Ryan Crowley, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Pioneer Technology Group. “This is the second product of ours purchased in the state of Kansas and marks a continued national expansion for Pioneer. It is truly great to see Counties across the Country sharing with their colleagues our reputation for delivering superior systems, service and support and experiencing the difference partnering with Pioneer can truly make.”

The installation of Landmark will add efficiency to the internal processes in the Clerk’s office utilizing scan first technology while at the same time directly benefiting the citizens of Douglas County. The public searchers that regularly rely on the documents and information maintained by the Clerk will have more advanced tools and the ability to access all they need online through a subscription service in real time, speeding up the process and getting information to the public faster.

The partnership in Douglas County is the second in the company’s expansion across Kansas with Benchmark, Pioneer’s Court Case Management System, already installed and working successfully in the City of Shawnee. This makes the 29th Landmark deal Pioneer has signed in the U.S. Additionally, Pioneer provides a multitude of products and services that include Jurymark, jury management software, document and film digitization services, and of course Benchmark and Landmark.
