  • The third annual Axia Users Group meeting will be on Monday and Tuesday, January 11 & 12, 2010 at the Lake Mary Events Center in Lake Mary, Florida. The Events Center is approximately two miles from Pioneer’s home office in Sanford, Florida. Both sites are in close proximity to I-4 exits in South Seminole County. Hotel information, along with a meeting agenda and feature survey, will be e-mailed to all customers in early November.
  • The first annual Benchmark Users Group meeting was held September 3 & 4, 2009 at Lake Mary Events Center in Lake Mary, Florida. Seven Florida Counties and one Alabama City were represented at the two-day conference. After receiving an in-depth overview of Pioneer’s immediate plans for the court case management system, Benchmark, the group did substantial brainstorming and priority listing of features to be included in upcoming releases.
  • Volusia and Orange Counties have installed and are now using the Axia Media Recorder and Player module for their hearings. They now have the capability to link the digital recordings directly to the petition file, which allows staff to listen thru the Windows client and the Special Magistrate, VAB Attorney, Petitioner, and PAO to access via the web.
  • St. Johns, Flagler, Citrus, and Charlotte Counties have signed contracts for Benchmark, a full court case management system bringing the total of Benchmark counties to six.
  • Charlotte County is the eighth county to join the Excise team, using Pioneer’s Tourist Development Tax application system.
  • We welcomed Pinellas County as our 13th Axia™ County. They went live on August 24, 2009. With the help of a very dedicated Pinellas team, PTG set an installation record of only three (3) weeks for the Windows Client. Due to a different server environment, the Web piece required new coding but was still operational within six (6) weeks. This was a united, determined effort that really worked.
  • The first annual Excise Users Group meeting was held July 14, 2009 at the Full Sail Media School in northeast Orlando. Seven counties were represented and spent the afternoon discussing and prioritizing new feature requests for the next Excise release. This type of meeting is essential to Pioneer’s staff in the continuous development of an application system that stays current and effectively meets the needs of their customers.
