Information is automatically docketed with accompanying scanned images. What’s more, our court technology software ensures case accuracy with Benchmark tools including case consolidation, case transfer, relating codefendants, party merging and multi-case processing. In addition, Benchmark also allows you to seal and expunge cases, copy dockets and images from one case to another, and track files and case history.
• Flexible docket maintenance options — Benchmark offers fully-integrated imaging within the Docket Maintenance feature, without the need for third-party licenses. Case actions can trigger auto-dockets with docket codes for quick entry. For even greater flexibility, administrator-managed docket entries can be resequenced, copied to other cases or input to multiple cases simultaneously. Image-handling abilities within the case docket include redaction, e-recording, copying, scanning, importing and e-mailing images.
• Customizable reports and forms — Benchmark Court Case Management software integrates with Crystal Reports and Microsoft Word to generate a wide array of reports and forms. Standard reports include accounting, management and state-mandated reports. Additionally, forms can be created within a case, court docket, general menu, list or triggered by a case action. And to handle any specialized reporting needs you may have, forms can be configured to automatically include specific case information, such as the defendant’s name, case number or clerk’s signature, as well as generate auto-dockets with the image after they are printed. In short, Benchmark can be configured to provide virtually any reporting you may need.
• Fund Management with third-party financial application integration — With Benchmark’s Bond, Restitution and Court Registry Financial Management feature, funds can be received, applied to a case and disbursed with ease. What’s more, Benchmark gives you the added functionality of exporting financial data directly to third-party applications for general-ledger upload. This lets you print pending checks for civil or criminal cases based on bond, restitution or court-registry activity — directly from Benchmark.
• Central cashiering with third-party financial application integration — Benchmark’s Cashiering Module incorporates all departments into one centralized cashiering system, allowing multi-payments from multiple cases, voids or modifications of receipts, and automated bulk-payment processing from third-party vendors. Like our Fund Management feature, general-ledger data is again captured and available for integration into third-party financial software applications.
• Automatic fee calculations — Benchmark automatically calculates fees and fines when cases are assessed, ensuring accuracy and speeding processing times. Fees are calculated based on current fee codes or manually adjusted by authorized users. As an added benefit, Benchmark also offers imports and exports to third-party vendors and software applications including positive-pay statements to banks and collection agencies, and auto-reconciliation of bond, restitution and court-registry accounts.
• Workflow optimization consulting services — During the Benchmark installation process, Pioneer professionals undertake a comprehensive efficiency review of daily court workflow. Based on these findings, exclusive Workflow Lists are created that help clerks improve the efficiency of daily workflow while eliminating paper reports. Cases can be grouped by unique criteria and individual cases quickly accessed.
• Instant access to realtime case information — Benchmark provides instant searchable Web access to detailed case information, case-docket entries and associated images, with public and external-agency access based on user rights. Furthermore, Benchmark’s powerful in-Court Processing uses an electronic court docket, which enables you to quickly update case information in realtime, reducing pre-court event preparation and post-court event processing. Benchmark’s signature-pod technology allows users to electronically sign documents that require single or multiple-party signatures, in the courtroom, at the cashier location or remotely via a Web interface.
• Simplified file tracking — Benchmark stores all parties for all modules within a single, comprehensive database allowing tracking by numerous identifiers, including name, alias, address, phone number, SSN and special characteristics, just to name a few.
